Scrum Master II Training Course

This 2 day course is suitable for any IT professionals who are interested in using the Waterfall model and how people have traditionally tried to deal with its shortcomings - including, but not limited to, Agile approaches.

The aim of the 1st day is to give an overview of these approaches enabling you to decide what might suit them in your environment.

The 2nd day looks at project management techniques and good practices that have been identified from Agile, and which can be applied in a Waterfall or Agile context.

The "Scrum for advanced Scrum Master + preparation for PSM II" training is addressed to experienced Scrum Masters who want to expand their competences, understand more deeply how Scrum works and become real leaders in the agile approach. The course covers the interpretation of the Scrum Guide in accordance with the vision of Scrum.org, which is crucial in the context of the PSM II exam. Participants gain practical knowledge about comprehensiveness, empirical approach, value Scrum and the role of Scrum Master as a leader. Additionally, the course prepares for the PSM II exam, based on the latest version of the Scrum Guide from November 2020.

This course focuses on the business analyst role to be successful on Agile projects. Course participants will learn how to cooperate with the Team, Product Owner, Scrum Master as well as with the Customer to facilitate the development process. Participants will go through a mock project practising common scenarios.

This 2 day course is suitable for any IT professionals who are interested in implementing Iterative Agile and Scrum methodologies to manage software development. This course is particularly suited to project managers, team leaders, developers and customers of software development wishing to have a stake holding in the development process.

This course has been created for test managers, quality assurance staff, testers, software developers, project managers and management in order to explain how the Agile project management frameworks (notably SCRUM) deal with testing.

At the end of the course, each of the delegates will design and execute a test plan for a sample application (it can be an actual client application if available)

Overview

This 2-day course provides a brief introduction to Agile software testing. It deals with foundational test concepts, within the context of Agile (Scrum) development and uses Crispin & Gregory’s (More Agile Testing, 2014) Agile Testing Quadrants model as a framework to explore contemporary principles and practices of Agile testing.

Intended Audience

This course is intended for development teams who want to improve their testing practices in an Agile context.

It is also suitable for those intending to pursue testing as a specific career and is a suitable pre-requisite for the iSQI Certified Agile Tester course.

This instructor-led, live training in Poland (online or onsite) is aimed at beginner to intermediate-level professionals who wish to gain a deeper understanding of Scrum and pass the Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification exam.

Training allows you to learn the knowledge, techniques, tools and practices in running projects based on the "Scrum framework," including the philosophy, organization of project workflow, roles in teams and the approach to creating business value based on the client's needs, and learning about selected aspects of Agile in practice. During the workshops and simulations, participants have the opportunity to learn and practice the tools and techniques used in Agile approaches, including Kanban boards, retrospective techniques, Working with the Registry and Requirements Formulation, and many others.

The training consists of a substantive part, workshops, practical examples.

JIRA Software is a powerful tool for Project Management and people tend to focus more on the tool than the method itself.

This instructor-led, live training introduces the participants to the power of Jira and Confluence, working together to serve the only purpose of helping the team to deliver successfully the product / project. The team will learn how to properly use these tools to be more efficient handling User Requirements, Testing, Communication, centralized in one place.

Will be studied JIRA projects, Confluence spaces, workflows, boards (Kanban & Scrum), planning and dependencies, Jira/Confluence linkage, reporting, important fields and custom fields, issue types, screen & filtering.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

• Create a Scrum or Kanban project
• Configure Jira to manage the project properly
• Manage issues effectively
• Build the necessary screen to handle issue types
• Create workflows and boards, and understand their interaction
• Perform basic and advanced searches and analysis
